What are porcelain veneers?

Is there an easy way to get rid of coffee and tobacco stains?
Dr. Glickman offers two bleaching methods that will whiten your teeth. Her in-office bleaching treatment usually shows visible results in one to three visits. Her home-bleaching treatment takes two to four weeks. Remember, your oral hygiene habits may be creating your stained teeth. Changing these habits after your bleaching treatment will help preserve the new brightness of your smile.
What about big spaces between teeth?
Gaps between teeth are a common problem. Often, teeth are simply too small or narrow for your mouth. The most beautiful and permanent solution is to affixed porcelain veneers to all front teeth. A more economical solution is to perform cosmetic bonding to all the front teeth, uniformly widening the tooth to fill in the gaps.

How long do your cosmetic procedures take?
The time needed to achieve a cosmetic solution varies, but here are some general guidelines. Cosmetic bonding can be completed in one visit in most cases. Office bleaching can be completed in one visit, but usually requires more for the best results. Home bleaching requires an initial visit, with results usually forthcoming in two to four weeks. Porcelain veneers or crowns often require two or more visits, depending on the number of restorations needed.
